To shield the skin from sparks, wear welding clothing with all necessary safety certifications. Installing welding screens also protects bystanders. The welding station must meet the conditions for adequate fire protection. To achieve this, equip yourself with fire blankets and a fire extinguisher and work away from flammable materials. Work only when the device is connected to a functional electrical installation with installed external guards.

To protect workers from the harmful effects of welding fumes, it is advisable to equip the workstation with ventilation for harmful welding fumes. It is also recommended to clean the surfaces from chemical pollutants.
